YSI 9800 Photometer Kit
The YSI 9800 is a portable, multiparameter photometer for quickly and accurately measuring over 30 water quality parameters. For use in the field or lab and featuring a large touchscreen display and an intuitive user interface with onscreen instructions, the 9800 Photometer is the ideal instrument for users of any level of experience operating in any environment!
Rugged and Modern
With an ergonomic design, the YSI 9800 boasts a waterproof IP-67 rating even when using a USB connection to power the instrument. It has been impact tested, and has an abrasion- and chemical-resistant coating. The large, full-color touchscreen display works even with wet or gloved hands.
Smart, Versatile
Onscreen step-by-step test instructions are available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Choose from 30+ tests or define your own, with user-selectable options for test units, sample numbers, and dilution factors. The YSI 9800 automatically stores all test results, data IDs, and user information for data compliance and traceability with a 1,000 data set memory. Data management and user-upgradeable software is easy via USB connectivity to a PC that also powers the instrument.
Sustainable
Fully serviceable and repairable over the life of the instrument, with a longer-lasting battery life (up to 5,000 tests per set) and comes with a carrying case that is composed of 100% recycled materials.
The YSI 9800 directly replaces the YSI 9300 and YSI 9500 photometers. The YSI 9300 and YSI 9500 have been discontinued.

A. If not satisfied with a PRM product for any reason, customers should contact PRM. Returns submitted within 30 days of the original invoice and must be in original packaging and in new condition. Please contact PRM to provide additional information regarding a return.
B. PRM Limited Warranties are applicable to PRM branded products, non-transferable, and warrant against manufacturer defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for 1 year after the date of the PRM invoice unless otherwise stated. If PRM approves the product is accepted for return during the limited warranty period, PRM may repair, replace, or refund the amount paid by the customer.
C. Non-PRM branded products retain their manufacturer's warranty. Customer should contact the manufacturer for warranty service.
D. PRM is not liable for claims arising out of product misuse, improper product selection, improper installation, and/or product modification. PRM's liability in all events is limited to the purchase price paid for the product.
The vast majority of PRM products ship directly from our facility within one business day. High value items such as blowers, pumps, and fans may have extended lead times due to global supply. Please consider contacting PRM prior to your purchase if it's necessary to know an exact delivery date and time.
IMPORTANT: All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery. Any shipping damage, missing items, or product defects must be reported to both PRM Filtration and the shipping carrier within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in your claim being denied. Please retain all original packaging materials, as they may be required for filing a damage claim.
