Shipping Information
Standard Shipping
Orders are normally shipped from our facility in North Carolina within 1-2 business days after the payment is received. It is very important that the correct shipping address is entered at checkout. We are not responsible for incorrect or un-deliverable addresses. If you provide an incorrect or un-deliverable address, you will be required to pay for any additional shipping charges required prior to reshipping, and an additional deduction may be taken from any returns/cancellations. Shipping is automatically calculated using current published rates. Buyer pays all shipping charges. Most orders will ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on size and weight. We reserve the right to choose which carrier we ship through to offer you the lowest available rate, regardless of which shipping option you have selected.
All shipments are FOB Origin. Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the shipment is handed off to the carrier. Customers are responsible for filing any freight damage or loss claims.
IMPORTANT: All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery. Any shipping damage, missing items, or product defects must be reported to both PRM Filtration and the shipping carrier within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in your claim being denied. Please retain all original packaging materials, as they may be required for filing a damage claim.
Expedited Shipping:
If you need your order before a certain date, please contact us PRIOR to submitting your order so we can determine whether we are able to meet your deadline. If we are unable to meet your deadline with standard shipping, EXPEDITED shipping is available. If you select an expedited shipping rate that is not guaranteed, we are not responsible if the shipping company does not honor the expected timeline. USPS Priority Shipping, UPS Ground, and FedEx Ground are not guaranteed shipping methods, although delays with these methods are rare.
Please note that international shipments may take longer to fulfill and may carry higher shipping charges than domestic orders.
International shipping requires additional documentation, customs clearance, and processing steps that extend fulfillment times. Shipping rates are also higher due to carrier fees, customs requirements, and cross-border logistics.
These factors are outside of our direct control. We appreciate your understanding when placing orders that must cross international borders.
Over-sized Motor Freight
Due to the size and weight of certain larger/heavier items, sometimes we cannot ship using our usual methods (UPS , FedEx etc.). We are very experienced with shipments of various sizes and weights, and have longstanding relationships with motor freight carriers, so generally get a very good rate. We will be happy to get a freight shipping quote for over-sized/overweight items before the purchase is completed. For an accurate quote, please provide:
- Shipping Address with Zip
- Whether delivery address is commercial or residential
- If there is a loading/unloading dock and equipment (forklift) available onsite
Local Product Pickup
Local product pickup is always acceptable within our normal business hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (EST)

If you contact PRM Filtration for local product pickup after your order has been placed online, we cannot guarantee that your order will not be shipped out or that your shipping charges will be refunded.
